BEING A SLIGHT EXPLANATION OF THE REAL STORIES
OF SOME COMIC BOOK "SUPERHEROES" IN THE WNU

Part One
Marvelous, Fantastic Heroes

Before you begin a word of caution

The stories you are about to see are real, the names have often been changed to protect the innocent and the guilty, the good and the villainous. They will be seen as controversial by some, as pure and adulturated manure by others. So be it, the truth can be a real stinker. These are the true stories of the superheroes of the Wold Newton Universe, all other such examples are pure fiction and should be dismissed with all due prejudice. Sorry, but that's the breaks.

Comic books are fictional works that sometimes come close to depicting the truth but should not be relied upon as the ultimate authority in chronology or characterization or historicity. Sadly that task falls to your humble editor. Therefore in reading the following articles you will be subjected to what may be perceived as flaws in comic book continuity or characterization. These are not flaws, they are the correction of flaws. You see my friends, comic book continuity is mythology and these are the truths behind the myths.

My task is not to convert but to inform. My position is simple. This is the Truth. If you agree with it you are correct, if you disagree you are wrong.

However, if it will help you to sleep better at night, you are welcome to consider these articles merely as Elseworlds type speculations.
