PHILIP JOSÉ FARMER - Re Dean Grennell's article on the Shadow. What he says is true. There are many illogicalities, discrepancies, absurdities, etc. in the Shadow novels and Gibson's style leaves much to be desired. But my own reaction is, So What? I love the Shadow in spite of it all or maybe because of it all.
